      The goal - in cooperation with the mentor, through all stages of the preparation and defense of the master's thesis, to expands knowledge, perfects the existing ones and acquires additional skills needed for the independent preparation and presentation of future works and projects. - to encourage to further improve and progress in scientific and research work through specialist and doctoral studies.
      The outcome A defended master's thesis, which enables the student to independently observe, analyze, design, set up and implement: a technological solution, process, project, scientific work or the like. The student is also expected to be trained in: critical thinking, analytical evaluation of data and planning of future scientific work and training in the field of food and environmental microbiology
      Contents
      Contents of lectures The master's thesis represents the student's research work in which he is introduced to the research methodology in the field. After the completed research, the student prepares a final paper in the form containing the following chapters: Introduction, Subject of research, Data sources and research methods, Results and discussion, Conclusion, Literature review.

      Methods of teaching Getting to know research methodology in the field of food technology. Experimental work aimed at mastering the various methods used in the field of food and environmental microbiology. After completing the research, the student analyzes and processes the obtained data, analyzes the relevant literature, and then writes a master's thesis.
