The goal Providing knowledge/understanding on agricultural drainage and the principles of water flow through the soil. The aim is also to develop the skills necessary to organize experimental work in accordance with the scientific principles of the research, use appropriate instruments for monitoring water flow, to be able to use information technologies and scientific literature.
The outcome Detailed understanding of the theoretical principles of water flow through a porous medium and familiarity with drainage system design, testing principles and modelling of drainage. The student should be able to discuss and critically do testing scientific hypotheses, to design an experiment, to analyze the results and present the acquired knowledge in written and oral form.
