The goal | The course aims to inform students about the theory of membrane separation processes as well as the characteristics of membranes and membrane modules.With a detailed presentation of selected membrane separation techniques and the possibilities of combining them,students are trained in analysis,design and the development of membrane systems for use in the food industry and technological control. | |||
The outcome | By mastering the planned program,students acquire professional knowledge for the analysis of existing and the development of new membrane techniques in the food industry.They acquire the ability to independently make a choice,to analyze and apply the selected processes in the production of a certain type of product.They acquire the ability for the development and implementation of a new idea. | |||

Contents of lectures | The course introduces students to the general principles and classification of membrane processes and their application in the food industry.Overview and analysis of membrane separation processes with the possibilities of application in the food industry.Membrane contactors and processes in contact,structural integration of membrane processes,application of membrane processes in the food industry. | |||
