The goal Acquiring knowledge and understanding the genetics of basic groups of microorganisms important for industrial production (bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses). Acquiring skills to recognize basic groups of microorganisms important for biotechnology, basic techniques of genetic manipulation. Effective learning, critical thinking and evaluations of teaching and outcomes.
The outcome Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of certain modern genetic methods and, based on that, predict their applicability in specific cases; define the genetic methodology in creating an experiment; interpreting the results and making conclusions about the correctness of the applied methodology; comparative assessment of the possibility of applying several genetic methods.
