    The goal The course should enable the student to acquire: knowledge/understanding of the interpretation of microbiological criteria for food, designing a microbiological laboratory and choosing the necessary equipment.
    The outcome - knowledge and understanding of microbiological criteria for food - analyzing and interpreting the results of microbiological analysis - the ability to design and equip a microbiological laboratory - thinks critically and develops creative thinking; - presents acquired knowledge through written and oral forms of presentation
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Application of the Rulebook on general and special food hygiene conditions at any stage of production, processing and circulation. Sample for microbiological examination. Interpretation of the results of microbiological tests. Methods for taking and testing samples taken from food contact surfaces. Designing a microbiological laboratory and the necessary apparatus and equipment.
    Contents of exercises Experimental work (demonstrations or student work) in order to interpret the results obtained in the microbiological analysis of foodstuffs either in the student's laboratory or in an experimental laboratory. Visit to microbiological laboratories. The student will also do a seminar paper related to designing his own microbiological laboratory.
