Contents of lectures | Applying bioactives of microorganisms; elucidation of the process of formation of polysaccharides, polyphenols, triterpenes, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins, antibiotics of higher and lower fungi, yeasts and bacteria; defining the methods of extracting and purifying bioactive substances; examination of the possibility of using bioactive components in the food and parapharmaceutical industry. | |||
Contents of exercises | The theoretical teaching is followed by the performance of practical laboratory exercises in the mentioned areas: techniques of isolation of bioactive substances from higher and lower fungi, yeasts and bacteria, application of bioactive substances in the food and parapharmaceutical industry. | |||
