    The goal Acquiring knowledge and understanding the application of polysaccharides, polyphenols, triterpenes, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins, antibiotics; mastering the mechanisms of formation of bioactives of microorganisms; procedures for the separation and purification of bioactive substances; by evaluating the possibility of using these components in the food and parapharmaceutical industry.
    The outcome - the possibility of applying bioactives - mechanisms of formation of polysaccharides, polyphenols, triterpenes, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins, antibiotics by microorganisms - methods of isolation and purification of bioactive components - characterization of the role of bioactives in the food and parapharmaceutical industry - presentation of acquired knowledge and application in practice

    Contents of lectures Applying bioactives of microorganisms; elucidation of the process of formation of polysaccharides, polyphenols, triterpenes, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins, antibiotics of higher and lower fungi, yeasts and bacteria; defining the methods of extracting and purifying bioactive substances; examination of the possibility of using bioactive components in the food and parapharmaceutical industry.
    Contents of exercises The theoretical teaching is followed by the performance of practical laboratory exercises in the mentioned areas: techniques of isolation of bioactive substances from higher and lower fungi, yeasts and bacteria, application of bioactive substances in the food and parapharmaceutical industry.
