    The goal The course is designed to provide students with: the knowledge and understanding of basic concepts of surveying and managing groundwater resources in Serbia and globally, and objectives and methods of water management in agriculture; the ability to apply theory to concrete tasks in the field, grasp of extent, importance, and methods of utilization of water resources in agriculture.
    The outcome Upon successfull completion students will demonstrate: thorough understanding of, and ability to interpret, basic concepts of survey and management of surface and ground waters in Serbia; ability to conduct scientific research in the field of management and utilization of water in agriculture.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Available quantities of surface and groundwater waters in Serbia. Utilization of international rivers. Utilization of domestic waters. Reservoirs on international and domestic rivers. Utilization of water in agriculture. Potenital for irrigation in Serbia from the perspective of availability of water. Global and domestic management of water resources.
    Contents of exercises Research paper in consultation with the instructor.
