    The goal Students should: be familiar with the basics of the quality system, understand the standards, gain knowledge about the goals, organization, implementation and effects of the quality system, demonstrate knowledge of the methods used to improve its application, monitor and apply innovations in the quality system.
    The outcome Students should understand the functioning of the quality system, develop the ability to communicate with experts from other fields, correctly analyze and interpret available information, give adequate recommendations and apply appropriate methods to increase the efficiency of the management system.

    Contents of lectures Basic terms and terminology of quality. Basics of quality management. Standardization and standards. Quality system. Total quality management. Management quality. Designing for quality. Marketing quality management. Procurement quality management. Quality management in development. Quality management in production. Product quality. Economic aspects of quality management.
    Contents of exercises All methodological units provided by the program will be covered in exercises.
