    The goal The student should acquire knowledge about the relationship soil - water - plant - atmosphere, plant water requirements, watering norms, irrigation norms, duration of irrigation, irrigation regime. Mastering the methods of soil salinity control and application of saline water for irrigation, fertigation methods. Training for finding, analyzing, and applying information.
    The outcome Physical and chemical properties of soil in the function of irrigation; Watering norms, Crop water requirements; Crop response to drought; Allowed drainage of land, reduced irrigation; Watering regime based on different principles; Water efficiency; Soil salinity control and application of saline water for irrigation, mineral fertilizer injection and solution dilution.
