The goal Acquisition of: 1. knowledge about the chemical composition of soil phases, structure and interaction of mineral and organic substances in soil, characteristics of colloidal substances in soil, soil sorptive properties and causes and consequences of soil acidity and alkalinity and 2. the skill of applying methods for testing soil chemical properties and interpreting the obtained results.
The outcome Student should explain the chemical composition of the soil phases and processes in soil depending on its chemical properties, choose methods for testing soil chemical properties, interpret the obtained results and make decisions about techniques for preserving and improving the chemical properties of the soil.
