    The goal This course enables the acquisition of knowledge/understanding about the importance of maintaining the varietal identity of seed crops, the determination of varietal-morphological, physiological and production characteristics of seed crops and the application of biochemical and molecular markers for the identification of varieties.
    The outcome At the end of the course, students will know and understand the concepts related to varietal identity in the seed production of crops and vegetable plants, they will be able to determine the identity of the variety and to report on the results of the identity of the variety.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Varietal-morphological characteristics of plants and seeds; Varietal-physiological properties of plants and seeds; Varietal and production characteristics of plants and seeds; Biochemical and molecular markers of plants and seeds
    Contents of exercises Practical teaching: Appropriate consultations, practical workshops and seminar papers will be organized from each chapter of theoretical teaching.
