    The goal Introducing students to the types of biofuels and modern procedures of analysis and characterization. The student should master modern procedures for obtaining biofuels, the basics of combustion calculations and emissions, as well as the development of biofuels.

    Contents of lectures Types of biofuels: briquettes, pellets, bioethanol, biodiesel, biogas, etc. - basic characteristics, production method. Procedures for obtaining certain types of biofuels, application possibilities. Recalculation of substitution of certain forms of fossil fuels by certain types of biofuels. Determination of thermal power, stoichiometric calculation of fuels, and harmful gas emissions.
