      The goal Providing to student to gain knowledge about organic agriculture certification, and to gain skills to select and apply matching standards/regulations.
      The outcome Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: define terms related to organic agriculture certification; describe in detail the components of the certification; understand the importance of management and documenting of production in accordance to applicable standards/regulations; use available sources related to organizations that participate in the creation of regulations.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Term and importance of organic certification; components of organic certification process; organic regulations (standards), Law and rulebook of Republic of Serbia, EU regulations, other organic regulations; contracts which regulates obligations of producers and control/certification body; inspection (control), issuing of certificate; labeling of organic products.
      Contents of exercises Analyses of labeling of organic products available at domestic market; control/certification bodies recognized to carry out control/certification according to domestic regulation, EU regulation and other regulations.
