The goal | Acquiring knowledge in the following areas: types of risks in agriculture, instruments for risk management and risk minimization, the concept and characteristics of insurance, types of insurance in agriculture, state incentives to cover insurance costs. | |||
The outcome | Upon the completion of the course, students should be able to explain and apply the acquired knowledge of methods in the field of risk minimization and insurance in the practice of determining insurance costs, collecting damages and making operational decisions related to the insurance of certain types of crops, fruits, animals . | |||
