The goal		Introducing students with: a history of fruit growing; with the basic biological properties of fruit trees; with the most important climatic and soils requirements for successful cultivation of fruit trees; with the basis of propagation and production of fruits plant material; with basic of technologies production of fruits trees ;
The outcome		The student should be show the knowledge: morphology of fruit trees ; according to the climatic and soil characteristics; the most important techniques of propagating fruit trees; growing systems and practices. Student should be develop critical thinking on the course, presenting the acquired knowledge in the module and the evaluation of learning outcomes and teaching process.
Contents
Contents of lectures		Introduction to fruit science ; basic terms; ecology of fruit trees, periodic in the annual cycle of growth and development of fruit trees (phenology); basic principles of fruit trees propagation; the basis of cultivation of fruit trees .
