The goal | to enable students to become familiar with: the morphology and anatomy of the insect body, the physiology of insects, the reproduction and development of insects, the characteristics of higher taxa of insects (orders and families), the ways of communication between insects, the behavior of insects, the effects of basic environmental factors on insects | |||

Contents of lectures | Basic characteristics of insects; Structure and function of the integument; Morphology of the head, thorax and abdomen; General internal composition of insects; embryology of insects; Postembryonic development, Influence of environmental factors on insects; Insect behavior, Parasitism and insects parasitoids. | |||
