    The goal The subject allows the student to become familiar with the basics of the quality system, understand standardization and standards, gain knowledge about the goals, organization, introduction and effects of the introduction of the quality management system, demonstrate knowledge of the methods used to improve its application, follow and apply novelties in the field of management quality.
    The outcome Upon completion of the course, the student should understand the functioning of the quality system, develop the ability to communicate with experts from other fields, correctly analyze and interpret available information, give adequate recommendations, and apply appropriate methods in order to increase the efficiency of the functioning of the quality management system in the business system.

    Contents of lectures Basic terms and terminology of quality. Basics of quality management. Standardization. Quality system. Total quality management. Management quality. Designing for quality. Marketing quality management. Procurement quality management. Quality management in development. Quality management in production. Product quality. Economic aspects of quality management.
