    The goal The course should enable the student to get to know the biological and production characteristics of fruit trees and vines; with intensive systems of growing fruit trees and vines (varieties, rootstock, cultivation forms); with the establishment of perennial plantations and with the practices of fruit and grape production.
    The outcome The student should demonstrate knowledge of: the morphology of fruit trees and vines; knowledge of intensive cultivation systems and the technology of perennial plantings of these crops. The student should develop a critical opinion about the subject matter, for the presentation of acquired knowledge, evaluation of learning outcomes and the teaching process.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Introduction to fruit growing and viticulture - basic terms; Morphology of fruit trees and vines; Ecology of fruit trees and vines; Phenological and an annual cycle of growth and development of fruit trees and vines; Technology of growing fruit trees and vines in the period of exploitation.
