    The goal The student will learn the reality of the sustainable management of available natural resources in Serbia, development and the determining factors, explore complex and specific natural resource management and use problems in the context of the national sustainable development strategy and learn of institutions and regulations on natural resource protection.
    The outcome Acquiring a) knowledge of natural resource sustainable management theory; natural capital analysis and the environment protection issue; application of appropriate natural resource valuation methods; b) skills of independent management of natural resources and the environment pollution issue; implementing national and international regulations on the environment protection in Serbia.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Natural resource economic and ecological significance; Serbia’s natural resource state and quality; Sociological, economic, and ecological approach to natural resources; National resources in the international environment; Natural resource monopolies; Resources: infrastructure and demography; Pollution, decontamination, and Serbia’s natural resource use sustainable method.
    Contents of exercises Presenting and discussing students’ seminar papers on specific topics in the fields of a) good and bad practice analysis; b) case studies on conflicts of interest related to the using up of natural resources; c) managers’ behavior and social responsibilities in natural resource exploitation companies.
