    The goal Acquiring knowledge for sustainable water management on an agricultural plot and applying measures to regulate the water regime of agricultural lands. Training of staff for the implementation of all activities necessary for the implementation of the European Water Directives.
    The outcome Ability to manage drainage and irrigation systems on small holdings. Ability to apply basic scientific and technological tools used to establish irrigation regimes, to manage drainage systems, to monitor water quality and soil degradation processes on an agricultural plot.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Irrigation: Gravity and pressure systems. Collective irrigation systems: supply and distribution network (channels and pipes), reservoirs, hydrants, flow measurement in open channels, telemetry and remote control system; quality of irrigation water Drainage: Surface and ground drainage. Drainage water quality. Legal framework for drainage strategy.
