    The goal Focus of this course includes achieving competency in academic skills and also introduction to Water Management Services, legal regulations in Serbia, possibilities of use of surface and groundwater, and protection flood water.
    The outcome Students will be able to explain basic terms of organizations and water management services, legal regulations in Serbia, to define basic water management branches, to evaluate possibility for surface and groundwater usage in agriculture, to define methods for protection water in agriculture, and to explain effect of climatic changes on water usage in agriculture.

    Contents of lectures 1. Introduction 2. Organization of Water Management Services, Legal Regulations in Serbia, Basic Water Management Branches 3. Water Usage in Agriculture. 4. Usage of Surface Waters: Water Supplying Rural Households, Fishponds, Irrigation. 5. Usage of Groundwater.
    Contents of exercises Writing and presentation of a seminar assignment, and solving of calculation tasks specific for groundwater.

    Methods of teaching Lectures are combined with interactive teaching in all sections of this course in different relations. Writing and presentation of a seminar assignment, which is submitted in hard and electronic copies. The assignment is presented during seminars. Groundwater sections are followed with calculation exercises with individual data.
