    The goal The course should enable the student to acquire deeper knowledge and skills in the field of plant genetic resources (PGR), including their collecting or PGR, conservation, management and use.
    The outcome The student should be trained for teamwork at PGR, developing critical and creative thinking about activities related to PGR, and publishing scientific papers on BGR. Student should use information and communication technologies in the field of PGR.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Genes and evolution, Agricultural plants, Genetic erosion, Methods of conservation of plant genetic resources, Political and Legal Framework for the preservation of the PGR (UN, EU, RS), Institutions collecting PGR, State of PGR in Serbia, Management of PGR, Public awareness of BGR.
    Contents of exercises Preparation of seminar work with elements of scientific research (processing and analysis of data, presentation of results) from selected lectures in species used as experimental material in the dissertation.
