    The goal Introducing students with: a history of fruit and grape growing; with the basic biological properties of fruit trees and vines; with the most important climatic and soils requirements for successful cultivation of fruit trees and vines; with the basis of propagation and production of fruits and vines plant material; with basic of technologies ;
    The outcome The student should be show the knowledge: morphology of fruit trees and vines; according to the climatic and soil characteristics; the most important techniques of propagating fruit trees and vines; growing systems and practices. Student should be develop critical thinking on the course, presenting the acquired knowledge in the module and the evaluation of learning outcomes and teaching process.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Introduction to fruit science and viticulture; basic terms; ecology of fruit trees and vines, periodic in the annual cycle of growth and development of fruit trees and vines (phenology); basic principles of fruit trees and vines propagation; the basis of cultivation of fruit trees and vines.
    Contents of exercises Morphology of fruit trees and vines. The cultivars of fruit trees and vines. Training systems forms of fruit trees and vines.
