The goal The aim of the course is to have student understand the processes of assimilation, water regime, mineral nutrition, plant growth and development, crop productivity, and how different factors, especially stress, tends to affect these processes; to apply plant physiology knowledge as basic theory of agricultural practices and other measures aimed to optimize crop grow.
The outcome At the end of course students should demonstrate the knowledge of: compartmentalization of cell metabolism, the plant water regime and the regulation, photosynthesis, respiration, effects of endogenic and exogenic factors, mineral nutrition, plant growth and development, hormonal regulation and growth and productivity parameters, seed and fruit physiology, plant resistance to stress factors.
