    The goal The course should enable the student to acquire knowledge in the field of morphology, phenology, varieties and rootstocks, ecology and the technology for growing of pome, stone, small fruits and nuts. The student should be able to choose the appropriate varieties and rootstocks of fruit trees, as well as the application of appropriate cultural practices in modern orchards.
    The outcome The student should know the biological properties of pome, stone, small fruits and nuts, varieties and rootstocks, as well as the cultivation technology. At the end of the course, the student should be able to recognize varieties, environmental conditions, and application of cultural practices for establishing and maintaining orchards.
