    The goal The course should enable the student to acquire: a) knowledge / understanding of problems related to genetic resources, introduction and production of crops for biomass and energy, the principles of sustainable management of this production, and technologies for their processing.
    The outcome Student should demonstrate a systematic and fundamental knowledge and understanding of the principales and procedures in the introduction and production of energy crops, to demonstrate the ability to organize production of energy crops.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Introduction, Renewable Energy, Climate and Soils of Serbia, Energy Crop Distribution, Crop Protection (Weeds, Pests, Pathogens), Production technology, Miscanthus, Spanish cane, common reed, reed canary grass, switchgrass, tall wheatgrass, elephant grass, sweet sorghum, sudanese grass, maize, lupin, Processing technology.
    Contents of exercises Study research - It will be organized individually depending on the topic of the doctoral dissertation, it will include analysis of the latest literature and the preparation and writing of seminar and scientific papers.
