The goal | The aim of the course is to enable students to gain knowledge about: the modern technological procedures of exploiting all parts of tobacco plant and technological operations in tobacco processing and cigarette production; the methods that can influence the yield and composition of cigarette and environmental smoke; types of additives for tobacco products and principles of their influence. | |||
The outcome | Upon course completion, students should be able to understand and explain: concept of the tobacco usability; all modern technological procedures for making tobacco products; methods and and ways in which the amount and composition of tobacco and environmental smoke can be influenced; sensory properties of tobacco products and apply modern analytical methods of quality control. | |||
