    The goal knowledge/understanding of the basic principles of plant production, that is, correct and timely application of agrotechnical measures; specific requirements of certain plant species, method and time of execution
    The outcome basic agrotechnical measures in plant production, management of appropriate equipment and machinery aimed at increasing yield; recognition of possible negative effects and preservation of the environment; application of team work methods in the adoption of course materials; development of critical and creative thinking and presentation of acquired knowledge within the course.

    Contents of lectures Basic principles of crop production. Agrotechnical measures. Basic and supplementary tillage. Tillage systems. Fertilization - Basic and supplementary. Fertilizer application methods. Sowing (Planting). Crop care. The fight against weeds. Crop rotation. Integral plant production (principles-application). Sustainable agriculture. Organic plant production.
    Contents of exercises Ways of applying certain agrotechnical measures. Plowing methods. Tillage systems. Determination of the dose of mineral fertilizers. Evaluation of sowing-planting quality. Knowledge of the biological characteristics of the most important weed species. Herbicide application technique. Compilation of the crop rotation. Specifics of the application of agrotechnical measures in organic agriculture.
