| Contents of lectures | Acquaintance with methods for the production of bioactive substances by microorganisms; defining the necessary conditions and process of formation of bioactive substances of microorganisms; explaining the procedures for extracting and purifying bioactive substances; familiarization with the possibilities of using biologically active components in the food and parapharmaceutical industry. | |||
| Contents of exercises | The theoretical teaching is followed by the performance of practical laboratory exercises in the mentioned areas: techniques for isolating bioactive substances from higher and lower fungi, yeasts and bacteria, application of bioactive substances in the food and parapharmaceutical industry. | |||
