Space and equipment

The Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade provides adequate space and equipment for quality performance of all forms of teaching and learning at all levels of higher education.

The standards of space and equipment of the Faculty correspond to the field of technical and technological sciences.

The teaching process is carried out at the Faculty in two shifts and according to the number of students at all levels of higher education, which amounts to 3852 and the total area of ​​22979 m2. The Faculty has 6,82 m2 of gross space per student. The faculty provides the appropriate place in amphitheater, classrooms and laboratories for each student. The faculty provides amphitheaters, classrooms, laboratories and other rooms for teaching, as well as library space and reading room, in accordance with the needs of the educational process of the field of technical and technological sciences. Teaching takes place in 11 amphitheaters, 5 large lecture rooms, 5 small lecture rooms, 21 exercise rooms, 86 laboratories for experimental teaching and 3 computer-assisted laboratories. The Faculty has 9 rooms in which dissertation defenses and sessions are held. The Faculty has a total capacity of 4359 seats, i.e. 9413 m2 of net space for teaching. Since the classes take place in two shifts, this amounts to 9413: 3852 = 2.44 m2 or 9413: 1.926 = 4.88 m2 of net space per student in one shift. The Faculty provides adequate working space for teachers and associates. Teachers and associates have a total of 289 cabinets, amounting to 5403 m2.

The Faculty provides space for administrative tasks, and appropriate offices for the needs of the Professional Service.

The Faculty owns 80 ha of arable land at the Faculty of Agriculture "Radmilovac" experimental station.

According to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, 57 ha of arable land was allocated to the Faculty in the period from 1946 to 1956. In 1941, the late Milan Vukičević's testament left the Faculty 23 ha of arable land, also on Radmilovac, which in total amounts to an area of arable land of 80 ha in the territory of Grocka municipality.

The Faculty has concluded a lease agreement of 20 ha of land, so that it has 100 ha of land for the purpose of educational and scientific work.

The Faculty has a central library of 674m2, equipped with a reading room and a student reading room of 300m2 with 165 seats. The central library has a total of 67634 library units.

The Faculty has 3 computer laboratories, with a total area of 164 m2 and 50 computers in them. The Faculty of Agriculture has a total of 540 computers, which are connected to the Internet 24/7.

The entire teaching and research takes place in the area where the Faculty of Agriculture is the holder of the usage rights.

The entire space has a use permit for performing teaching-scientific activities and accordingly meets the urban, technical-technological and hygienic conditions.

The Faculty has the appropriate technical equipment for the modern teaching, in accordance with the needs of study programs at all levels of higher education.

The complete equipment is safe to operate and conduct teaching in accordance with health and safety standards, of which the students are specifically informed through the instruction manual. In addition, every year, the Faculty organizes training for fire protection according to the Law on Safety at Work for all teachers and associates. The maintenance procedure of the equipment is defined by the appropriate documents.

For the work of the student parliament and student organizations, the faculty provided 3 rooms of 60 m2.

For the implementation of study programs, the Faculty has provided its own teaching-research bases, as well as teaching science bases in the economy. In addition to its own teaching and research bases, the faculty also has scientific and research-development laboratories, scientific-professional centers and research and development and innovation units. Within the economy cooperation, for the purpose of quality teaching in the study programs, the Faculty signed business cooperation agreements and ensured the implementation of professional practice and part of the teaching process in about 20 corresponding companies.
