The goal | The course should enable the student to acquire knowledge about the role of microbes in the processes of creating and maintaining soil fertility, the importance of microbes in the processes of element cycling and the supply of nutrients to plants, the complex interactions between plants and microorganisms, and the impact of agrotechnical measures on microbiological processes in the soil.
The outcome | The student should be able to understand the role and importance of microorganisms in the processes of creation and maintenance of soil fertility and the circulation of elements in the complex interaction of microorganisms-soil-plant, to understand the importance of methods for determining the biological activity of soil as an indicator of the impact of agrotechnical measures on soil fertility.
