    The goal The subject should enable the student to acquire knowledge/understanding of the principles of precision agriculture, as well as to point out the importance and way of functioning of modern technical solutions from this field.
    The outcome Acquisition of practical knowledge and the possibility of applying precision viticultural production systems. Knowledge of the structure of databases, how they function and apply GIS, GNSS and VRT. Knowledge of techniques, methods of application and use of unmanned aerial vehicles and satellite systems in the field of detection and prevention of unwanted phenomena in viticulture production.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Basic principles of precision agriculture (PA). Description of the spatial heterogeneity of soil and plants. Database structure, GIS, GNSS, VRT, applied PA technologies in plant production. Unmanned aerial vehicles in agriculture. Satellite systems in agriculture. Basics of plot image processing and interpretation. Software packages intended for PA. Decision making and economic evaluation for PA.
    Contents of exercises Practical exercises that encourage active learning, understanding and mastery of the basic principles of PA. Analysis of production processes using case studies from the field of PA. Individual and group training for mastering the basics of planning, preparation and adjustment in applied PA technologies.
