      The goal The subject should enable the student to acquire knowledge/understanding of the principles of data management obtained through the application of various technologies of precision agriculture, as well as introduce him to various techniques of collecting, storing, analyzing and using the obtained data.
      The outcome Acquiring practical knowledge and the possibility of using collected data using different technologies of precision agriculture in agricultural production systems. Knowing and defining the basics of database structure, database integrity, content selection and modification, managing transactions with data obtained from sensors and actuators.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Database structure, data collected: GIS, GNSS, VRT, drone images, satellite images (terrain preparation, tillage, fertilization, sowing/planting, plant care and protection, harvesting/harvesting, etc.). Basics of plot image processing and interpretation. Software packages intended for data processing, analysis and visualization.
      Contents of exercises Practical exercises that encourage active learning/understanding and mastery of various data management techniques obtained by applying PA. Analysis, visualization and presentation of data using case studies from the field of PA. Individual and group training for mastering software packages: Farm Works, Connected Farm.

      Methods of teaching Theoretical and practical teaching in combination with interactive teaching during lectures, while the practical part of the course is planned for the exercises. Oral lectures, video presentations and public presentations, solving case studies, interactive communication (team collaborative and cooperative methods of active learning).
