The goal | The course should enable the student to acquire knowledge/understanding of: principles of operation of technical devices and systems in fruit and wine production; harmonization of technological production requirements and exploitation parameters of machines and tools; as well as the proper selection of technical means and systems in accordance with efficient and economical exploitation | |||
The outcome | Knowledge of: the technological process of the operation of machines, devices and apparatus; functioning of complex technical systems; optimal machine parameters conditioned by the technology of growing certain fruit species; organization of work and legality of economical exploitation of machines and devices in perennial plantations. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Orchard tractor; Machines and tools for: systematization of terrain, tillage, planting, care and protection of plantations, irrigation, pruning, application of pesticides, harvesting, transport, facilities and equipment for storage. | |||
Contents of exercises | Practical exercises that encourage active learning/understanding and mastery of the basic principles of exploitation of technical means and systems in fruit and wine production. Practical teaching from all lecture chapters: proper aggregating, adjustment of driving and connecting machines and tools, calculation of technical systems in operation, design of technical equipment and systems. | |||

Methods of teaching | Theoretical and practical teaching in combination with interactive teaching during lectures, while practical, computational and audio-visual part of the course is planned for the exercises.
