The goal | The course allows the student to acquire: knowledge of the basic principles of the structure and reactivity of matter, how chemical changes take place, chemical and physical properties of the elements; the skill of handling laboratory supplies, performing and monitoring of chemical experiments, the ability to analytically and critically approach solving chemical problems and tasks.
The outcome | Upon completion of the course, the student should: understand chemical and physical changes in substances; explain the fundamental bases of the structure and reactivity of matter; acquire knowledge in the field of chemical equilibrium; master basic laboratory work; understands what micro, macro and essential elements are; logically connects theoretical, experimental and computational knowledge.
