Contents of lectures | Structure of Matter; Chemical reactions: stoichiometry, classification, energy, rate, and equilibrium; Dispersion systems; Biogenic elements; Structure of organic molecules; Chemical properties of basic classes of organic compounds; Overview and classification of biomacromolecules. | |||
Contents of exercises | Acquaintance with working in the laboratory; Preparation of solutions; Ionic balances (pH, acids, bases, salts, buffers, solubility product) Redox balances (redox reactions, electrode potential); Chemical analysis; Synthesis, purification and isolation of simple chemical compounds. | |||
