The goal | The aims of the course are to provide students with knowledge about the contemporary concept of the molecular basis of physiological processes in plants, their mechanisms, and interactions under stress and control conditions. | |||
The outcome | At the end of the module, the student should demonstrate knowledge of transport processes on membranes, structures and organization of plant genome, mutations and genetic transformations, the role of hormones, perception and transduction of cell signals, application of molecular techniques to monitoring spatial-temporal modifications physiological processes in specific environmental conditions. | |||

Contents of lectures | Membrane structure and membrane transport in plants cell. Nucleic acids. Enzymes for replication and modifications. Plant genome organization and structure. Mutations and transformations. Plant hormones. Sensing and Signaling in Plant Adaptation to Environmental Stress, Molecular and physiological analysis of plants - omics techniques. | |||
