Contents of lectures | Basic biotechnical principles of growing plants in organic field production. The importance of climate and soil. Specificities and adaptation of agrotechnical measures in organic production. Fertilization specifics. The importance of crop care in organic production. Weed control measures in organic field production. Crop rotation. Intercropping. | |||
Contents of exercises | Soil fertility conservation and increase. Methods of preparation of different organic fertilizers for use in organic agriculture. Modification of agrotechnical measures (cultivation, fertilizing, sowing-planting, crop care, weed control, crop production systems - crop rotation). | |||
