The Faculty

The Faculty of Agriculture is a legal body with the status of an institution of higher education – a unit of the University of Belgrade and with rights, obligations and responsibilities regulated by the Law on Higher Education, the Statute of The University of Belgrade and the Statute of the Faculty.

The founder of the Faculty is the Republic of Serbia.

The Faculty is autonomous in accordance with the Law and the Statute of the University of Belgrade.

The tasks of the Faculty are organizing and conducting academic studies that have been founded at the Faculty, as well as scientific research.

The Faculty is an institution of higher education which conducts higher education and scientific research activities in the fields of crop science, fruit science and viticulture, horticulture, zootechnics, soil management, phytomedicine, agricultural engineering, food technology, biochemistry and agricultural economy of within its main framework.

The board for accreditation and quality assurance of the Republic of Serbia has determined that the Faculty has fulfilled all standards required for the accreditation of higher education institutions and has issued the Faculty with the Confirmation of Accreditation no. 612-00641/2013-04 dated 17.05.2013.

All study programs that are being conducted at the Faculty are accredited by the Comission for accreditation and quality assurance of the Republic of Serbia.

By the decision of the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia no. 021-01-61 / 83 dated 11.06.2006. The Faculty is accredited for performing scientific research activities.
