Educational visits
The well-equipped Fisheries and Applied Hydrobiology Center "Little Danube" are located at the experimental good “Radmilovac", of the Faculty of Agriculture. It was named after the river Danube, which was the inspiration of the creators of the center to present life in the Danube and around it in a relatively small space. Our "Little Danube" - the river model extends over 1,000 meters in length. It is made, as with all other rivers: source with upper flow, middle and lower flow. The lower flow of the "Little Danube", which covers an area of about 5.5 hectares, is part of the sighting estate arranged for visitors, with 30 small or large water areas (lakes), a small water botanical garden, a building aquarium with a live exhibition of fish of the Danube River; zoo with water birds; alaska cottage - museum of fishing, water house - bunny, corner dedicated to her Majesty - WATER, small Great War Island; Island of evolution, fishing grounds, Little Djerdap reservoir for boating, as well as numerous other facilities. Visitors can try their luck in fishing, sail down the "Little Danube", watch movies about life in water and around water, meet the flora and fauna of the water and spend a day in a beautiful environment. The Center can organize celebrations, company presentations, seminars, photo shoots.
"Little Danube" is intended for children and adults and can be visited in the period from April 20 to October 30. For group visits, a previous announcement is required. Family and individual visits with the organized program are realized on Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm.
