Revised call for contributions for the 2021 European Learning & Teaching Forum

Позив Европске универзитетске aсоцијaције зa достaвљaње aпстрaкaтa рaдовa зa European Learning and Teaching Forum, који ће бити оргaнизовaн у фебруaру 2021. године

EUA is seeking abstract proposals for presentations at the 2021 European Learning & Teaching Forum "Embedding and facilitating sustainability", organised online over two half days on 18-19 February 2021. The submission deadline is 13 October 2020.

In response to the prevailing uncertainty about how the Covid-19 crisis will develop in the autumn and winter months, EUA has decided to organise the 2021 European Learning & Teaching Forum in the form of online sessions. This decision has been taken with the safety of all concerned in mind. As a further result of this decision, the call for contributions for the event is re-published in a simplified version. EUA apologises for any inconvenience this change may cause to those who have already worked on their contributions.

Through the online sessions, the 2021 European Learning & Teaching Forum will explore how learning and teaching ensures access to the knowledge and skills needed to reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals and accomplish the transformations that our societies and economies require. It will also invite participants to reflect on whether the organisation of learning and teaching at their own institutions is delivered in an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable manner.

Leadership and management in higher education institutions, students, policy makers and other interested stakeholders are invited to submit proposals for presenting current practice or research. The proposed topics are expected to relate to the Forum theme.

For further information about the Forum, please consult the event webpage or contact the EUA secretariat at LTForum@eua.eu.

Finally, we would like to draw your attention to two other online events that may be of interest. Over the coming months, EUA is organising a webinar series titled "Towards the Bologna Process Ministerial Meeting" and dedicated to the different areas of work in the Bologna Process. Two webinars, in particular, touch on the issue of learning and teaching, namely "Webinar 3 – Digitally enhanced learning and teaching in the European Higher Education Area" on 20 October and "Webinar 4 – Flexible learning: micro-credentials as a way to learning and teaching in the EHEA" on 27 October. Registrations for both webinars are now open.
